Who we are

Diverse teams, chosen on the merits.

The strongest teams pull from the widest range of experience. We build that in — with skills-first hiring that widens the field, a culture that keeps good people, and numbers we hold ourselves to.

  • Structured interviews: the same core questions and scoring rubric for every candidate for a given role.
  • Work samples and skills assessments weighted over pedigree and keyword matching.
  • Mixed, bias-aware interview panels that score independently, then calibrate before deciding.
  • Sourcing through apprenticeships, community partners, and career-returner programs — not just the usual networks.
  • Pay anchored to role and level, never to a candidate's prior salary.
  • Progress on representation and inclusion tracked and reported — gaps included.

Diverse teams ship better products. They catch more edge cases, understand more of the people they build for, and make fewer expensive assumptions. That doesn't come from a statement of intent — it comes from process. We design our hiring, our internal decisions, and the programs we run to widen who gets considered while holding everyone to the same standard. Where we're making progress, we say so. Where we're falling short, we say that too.

  1. 01

    Screening that widens the field

Most hiring quietly filters on pedigree — the right school, the right former employers, the right keywords on a CV. We screen on the work instead: structured assessments and work samples mapped to what the role requires, scored against a defined rubric before candidates are ranked against one another. Clients meet capable people they would otherwise have skipped, and strong candidates get judged on what they can do.

  2. 02

How we run interviews and decisions

Every candidate for a role answers the same core questions and is scored on the same rubric, so evaluations can be compared. Interview panels are mixed and trained to spot how bias slips into hiring, and interviewers record scores independently before the group calibrates and decides. The same discipline carries into feedback and promotion: clear criteria, written rationale, and a deliberate check that the loudest voice isn't the only one heard.

  3. 03

    Widening access to tech careers

The pipeline problem is real, so we work on the pipeline. We partner with apprenticeship programs, community organizations, and career-returner initiatives that bring people into technology from outside the usual routes — including those without a traditional degree or an unbroken CV. It is slower than recruiting from the same short list everyone else works from, and it surfaces talent the rest of the market overlooks.

  4. 04

    Inclusion after the offer

Hiring diverse talent means little if people don't stay. We hold managers to fair, transparent practices on pay, project assignments, and advancement, and we set pay by role and level rather than by salary history so old inequities aren't carried forward. For the specialists we place with clients, we stay close through the engagement so problems surface early instead of ending in a quiet exit.

  5. 05

    Measured, and told honestly

We track representation across our own company and across the candidates we put forward, and we watch where people drop out of the process and why. We set goals for the diversity of our pipelines and the reach of our programs — not quotas on who gets hired. When the numbers move the right way, we report it; when a goal slips, we name the gap and what we're changing rather than round it away.
